About the Artist

I am fascinated with faces, especially the exquisite eloquence of eyes and hands.  My paintings are about “seeing” and being “seen.” When we allow ourselves to truly “see,” rather than simply “look at” someone; we are privileged to catch a glimpse of the real person shining through their eyes. In seeing others, we see ourselves.  The same happens while viewing paintings of animals and abstracts.  When fully imbibing a captivating work of art, we are invited to uncover a deeper understanding of life.
